Brother of 33 Driver Charles Ware

 

George Ware was one of the first Australians to land at Gallipoli and served with the 3rd Field Ambulance until November 1915. In April 1916 he arrived in France where he became a sapper with the 3rd Field Company Engineers. Eight weeks later he was killed in action at Pozieres. He has no known grave.
