Nephew of 940 Private Robert Benjamin Moffat (KIA) (not on Roll of Honour).

 

John Wall arrived in France in September 1916. A month later he was hospitalised with a fever, re-joined his unit then was hospitalised with mumps. He re-joined his unit in April 1917 and was killed in action at Bullecourt four weeks later. His body was never found.
