Brother of 119 Corporal Thomas Stanley Crouch.

 

Leslie Crouch arrived in France in June 1916. In August he was wounded in action and hospitalised in England. He re-joined his unit in April 1917 and a month later was wounded again and hospitalised in France. In September in Belgium he was wounded a third time and was ‘dangerously ill’ when admitted to Netley’s Royal Victoria Hospital. In April 1918 he returned to Australia and was discharged in November.
