Brother of 1207 Private Stanley Greenbury (KIA) and 325 Private Sydney Anderson Greenbury.

 

Leslie Greenbury arrived in France from England in November 1916. Two weeks later he was admitted to the 7th General Hospital at Saint-Omer, “dangerously ill” with cerebro -spinal meningitis. He died the next day without ever firing a shot in battle. He was only 19.
