Leslie Scott served at Gallipoli from April to July 1915 when he was hospitalised in Malta with myalgia. He was transferred to the 3rd London General Hospital in March 1916 with chronic bronchitis and invalided to Australia in June. He recovered and re-enlisted in February 1917.
