Name on ROH: Lady B. MORTON

 

Gladys Morton joined the Australian Army Nursing Service at Enoggera Military Hospital, Brisbane in December 1916 and embarked for England in May 1917. She was posted to Croydon War Hospital in London until January 1918 when she transferred to the Australian General Hospital at Rouen, France. In December she returned to England assigned to the Sutton Veny General Hospital in Wiltshire where she was promoted to Sister. She returned to Australia in December 1919.
