Brother of 109 Driver Leslie Sydney Greenbury (DOD) and 325 Private Sydney Anderson Greenbury.

 

Stanley Greenbury landed in France in December 1916 attached to the 11th Field Ambulance Company and re-joined the 42nd Battalion in February 1918. He was killed in action in France on 2 October at Bony during the battle of Mont Saint-Quentin (the offensive was planned by General John Monash). He was 23.
