Name on ROH: E.J. COOKE

 

Cornelius Cooke arrived in France in July 1917. A month later he was wounded in his right knee and hand and admitted to London’s Edmonton Military Hospital. He remained in England until returning to Australia in January 1918. He was discharged in May.
