Son of Lieutenant Colonel Henry Bailey.

 

Henry Bailey landed at Gallipoli on 25 April 1915. He was promoted to Corporal in July. In September he was diagnosed with an unspecified ‘debility’ and hospitalised in Cairo. Soon after he was invalided to Australia and discharged in December.
