Brother of 7087 Lance Corporal William Leslie Crowe (not on Roll of Honour).

 

Herbert Crowe landed at Gallipoli in May 1915. Six days later he was wounded in action and hospitalised at Alexandria and London. He was invalided to Australia in December and discharged in May 1916.
