Brother of 2010 Private Cecil George Dorman, 2739 Private Felix James Dorman, 777 Private Reuben Victor Dorman and 65647 Private Henry Leslie Dorman.
Robert Dorman arrived in France in November 1916. In January 1917 he was wounded in the head and became ‘dangerously ill’. He was transferred to Edmonton Military Hospital in March and invalided to Australia in July.
