Brother of 5325 Private Harold Ernest Thomas Davies (DOW).

 

William Davies arrived in France from Egypt in July 1916. On 21 July 1918 in France he was seriously wounded by shrapnel near St Omer and evacuated to the 1st Australian Casualty Clearing Station where he died of his wounds.
