Brother of 3035 Private Timothy James Docherty.

 

William Docherty arrived in France in September 1916. He was severely wounded in his left arm in April 1917 and admitted to the 1st Southern General Hospital at King’s Heath. He returned to Australia in September and was discharged in January 1918.
